Remember the Magic 8 Ball? Not long ago, there was no better way to find answers than by peering into the blue dye of that black vortex and waiting for the words, "It is certain," or "Better not tell you now," or "My sources say no."

But if you need the answer to a burning question today, look no further than a bubbly baby blue sky and a little birdie. That's right, kids, Twitter knows all. It's no big surprise, then, that speculation about whether the least punk rock of any self-proclaimed punk rocker, Avril Lavigne, and The Hills local Himbo, Brody Jenner have been dating, was ended via Tweet.

In fact, Lavigne and Jenner have been very publicly twittering each other like crazy .

It started when Lavigne wrote, "I love you eyelashes." To which Brody responded, "Kisses." And then Lavigne tweeted in response, "Kisses back."

If we may indulge in a little arm chair psychology, does anyone else find it interesting that she wrote, "I love you," and he wrote, "Kisses?" That's such a burn. He didn't even go Ghost and toss out, "Ditto," he just diverted entirely. Some might say that doesn't bode too well for the Sk8er Girl. As the 8-Ball might say, "Outlook not so good."

Still, the Tweets were the hard evidence everyone was hunting for after the couple went to Las Vegas and reportedly got matching tattoos, first lightning bolts and then, according to OK! magazine, the F-word. They have been seen frequenting Voyeur nightclub in West Hollywood and spent Friday night at the Race to Erase MS event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in LA.

The 25-year-old singer performed a five-song set while Jenner got down like Penny Lane on the sidelines. They also shared a table with family, including Jenner's mom, Linda Thompson, who Lavigne greeted with a long hug.

Lavigne filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, in October 2009 and hasn't had any major romance since. Brody, whose dating exploits have been well documented on The Hills, has previously dated Kristin Cavallari, Nicole Richie , Lauren Conrad and Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole.

It can't be denied, Jenner is a beautiful man and, yes, those eyelashes are delightful, but homeboy gets around. In fact, according to one of his male co-stars, we've been told he's got the gift that keeps on giving. Ahhh, young love in Hollywood.

The Hills series, for better or worse , gave us Speidi, Kristin Cavallari, Brody Jenner, Audrina Patridge and other "celebrity" personalities, and aired their last scenes of manufactured drama on July 13.

While Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were suspiciously missing from the finale, there was plenty of airtime devoted to all the major life changes the other characters were planning on making.

In a nutshell, Kristin decided to move to Europe, Lo and Scott moved in together, Audrina got a house by the beach, Stephanie sort of committed to dating Josh, and Brody pondered the twists and turns of his relationship with Kristin.

At Kristin's going away party, Brody showed up and admitted he'd miss her. He even shed a tear and told her not to leave, despite his having a new girlfriend. There was no Ross and Rachel ending though, as Kristin was adamant about leaving for her non-specific European destination.

After saying their final goodbyes, Brody watched as Kristin was driven away with the Hollywood sign prominently displayed over his shoulder. But wait! That was no real sign, as the crew rolled the backdrop away revealing Brody was standing on a set and it was all fake. Talk about a surprise ending!

Oh, you Hills producers! How sly of you to leave the legitimacy of the series up to the viewers. Was there ever any reality to the show, or was it all make believe? Does it really matter?

Audrina Patridge was enjoying some beach time and, according to E! online, locals approached her and asked how she was enjoying residing in Hermosa Beach. As The Hills closed its "reality" run on MTV, fans of the show saw Audrina Patridge move to Hermosa Beach and assumed she was now living life as a beach babe.

Not true, according to those who were hanging with Patridge on the beach July 22. Apparently several fans approached her about being a beach local and Audrina Patridge simply laughed at the prospect that she really lives by the Pacific.

This is only the latest in a series of admissions from The Hills stars, including Brody Jenner, that the reality show was more scripted than real. Brody Jenner's admission came moments after the finale aired. Jenner made his remarks at The Hills series finale after-party! Give us a little time to bask in our blissful ignorance, people!

Audrina Patridge, meanwhile, has a bit of time on her hands as her reality show spin-off of The Hills was not picked up by MTV or any other network.

Brody Jenner recently debuted his inner rocker by sporting a new Mohawk. Reports are now saying Brody Jenner vamped up the new look by shaving the letter A into the right side of his head.

Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne have reportedly been going strong since the spring and what better way to prove his devotion to the punk-pop-princess?

Brody Jenner hasn't confirmed the act of devotion is in honor of Avril Lavigne, but this isn't the first time the love struck puppy has allegedly done something crazy for his main squeeze.

Brody Jenner reportedly inked his forearm with Lavigne's name back in July.

Brody Jenner's relationships were often the subject of the last few seasons of The Hills. His on-again-off-again relationship with former Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole was scrutinized by his Hills castmate, and ex, Kristin Cavallari.

Brody Jenner's dad, Bruce Jenner, is completely comfortable with his son's choice of expression.

"It seems like in today's society, getting tattoos and piercings, changing the hairstyles, going pink and purple and all that, it seems to be their generation," Bruce told UsMagazine.com. "But hair can grow back! He'll be fine."

And I'm SO happy for you on your engagement!!" wrote Kylie, while Kendall tweeted, "Congratulations to my wonderful big sister @KimKardashian on her engagement!!! I love you and I can't waitt!"

Mom Kris Jenner wrote: "YIIPPEEE SO HAPPY!!!!!"

Someone in the family was left out of the loop though. Despite the big moment happening a week ago, stepbrother Brody Jenner didn't find out about Kim's engagement until the rest of us did today.

"My sister is engaged? Hahaha I had no idea!!... Crazy being in such a big family... Congrats @Kimkardashian love you. Let's celebrate soon," Brody tweeted.

One person silent on the engagement is Kim's ex, Reggie Bush -- but his pals are more than happy to talk about it. In fact, one told HollywoodLife.com that he's pretty bummed.

"Reggie was told about Kris and Kim's engagement this past weekend because Kim knew everyone would be contacting him for reaction," the insider said. "He was apparently made aware of the People magazine cover as well."

"During their last breakup, Reggie told me Kim may have been the one who got away. He loved her to death."

Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle, with sources saying the crowd started clapping as soon as they saw her.

Sources say that Kim didn't cry during the ceremony, but instead was beaming the entire time.

Kourtney Kardashian's son, Mason, , was the ring bearer and had guests laughing as he tried to walk down the aisle. Look at that adorable white tux!

All the guests had to wear white and black at the star-studded event of 440 people. Guests included Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Melanie Brown, Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne. Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were reportedly a no-show.

Kylie Jenner showed off her new red hair tips while making her runway debut at the Abbey Dawn fashion show, wearing sassy mini dresses, slogan tees and rockin' accessories.

The 14-year-old had plenty of fans in the audience, including her sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, brother Brody Jenner and brother-in-law Kris Humphries.

"I loved having my family there," Kylie told People. "They made me so much more comfortable."

Kylie's brother, Brody, is dating Avril Lavigne, who happens to design Abbey Dawn. How did Avril think Kylie did her first time down the runway? "She did a really good job," Lavigne said. "I love her edge."

Part of her edge could be her newly dyed tips. "I'm obsessed with it," Kylie admitted. "I did 'Rihanna red' over Spring Break, but I was just like, 'This isn't me!'"

What did big sis Kim think of Kylie's new career? "Just left @AvrilLavigne's fashion show with my lil sis @KylieJenner walking in it!" Kim tweeted. "She was so fab!"

Brother Brody agreed, writing, "She looked beautiful and was such a natural. Proud to be her brother."

It's 1 a.m. in Hollywood on Sunday morning and your famous girlfriend Avril Lavigne just got into a bar fight with another female; what do you do? If you're Brody Jenner then you step right in and take a severe hit to the head from a bottle. Ouch! X17 Online spotted Brody outside of a celebrity hotspot, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, with what looked like serious lacerations to his head, as blood was clearly visible.

Police arrived on the scene and listed Jenner as the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon -- no word on yet who the instigator of the fight was early yesterday morning. Brody was offered an ambulance ride to the hospital but declined, taking private transportation instead. He was released from the hospital and is reported to have received several stitches. He later tweeted, "Interesting Saturday night… Just got out of the hospital with a new scar of my face…Charges/chargers!!!" He then tweeted a picture of him and girlfriend Avril Lavigne .

Avril Lavigne has become well known for her anger management issues. Her most recently reported temper tantrum happened in May at a MLB game in Tampa, Florida. After her microphone stopped working during a post-game concert in front of a family-filled audience, Lavigne went off on a profanity-laced tirade. Rumors of Avril's temper surfaced way back in 2004 after she said told a Boston radio host that Hillary Duff could go "screw herself."

After Kim Kardashian's stepbrother Brody Jenner and his rocker girlfriend Avril Lavigne were involved in a bloody brawl on Sunday, Nov. 6, the battered and bruised couple took to Twitter to vent. Jenner, who landed in the hospital, is now pressing charges against his alleged attackers, but there's no word on whether Lavigne is involved in the case.

Jenner and Lavigne, who've been together since at least May 2010, hit the town Saturday night and were having such a rocking time that Jenner tweeted, "Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!!"

Unfortunately, their killer night took a violent turn shortly after midnight. Word is Lavigne was arguing with a patron outside The Roosevelt Hotel, so her boyfriend stepped in to cool down the situation.

Instead, the altercation escalated. Jenner was hit over the head with a bottle and took himself to the hospital, where he was given stitches, and Lavigne wasn't spared injury, either.

"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f*cked," Lavigne tweeted. "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."

Lavigne has had her share of temper tantrums and blow ups, including her profanity-laced tirade at the MLB game in Tampa, Florida, but the "Complicated" songstress apparently draws the line at violence.

SheKnows has to agree with Lavigne on that call. It also seems unwise to mess with the Kardashian clan, who was tapped as the year's Hot Empire in TV Guide's annual Hot List.

While Lavigne and the five attackers left the scene before the police arrived, Jenner stuck around, and his post-brawl tweet, which concluded, "Charges/chargers!!!" seemed to indicate that he was pressing charges.

Whether or not that's what he actually meant, Jenner has, in fact, filed an assault with a deadly weapon charge, with the weapon being the bottle that was smashed into his head. Police are investigating, but so far, there have been no arrests and no word on Lavigne's involvement in the case.

We can add the couple to the growing list of Hollywood heavyweights who got engaged over the holidays, Star magazine snoopsters dish on the pages of the tabloid's Jan. 23 issue.

Of course, other celeb gawkers tell a different story.

The 27-year-old songstress is ready to walk down the aisle for a second time after accepting a Christmas proposal from the ex-star of MTV's The Hills and Bromance, if Star spies are to be believed.

Lavigne finalized her divorce from rocker husband of three years, Deryck Whibley, in 2011. But she's been busy emailing friends with snapshots of the dazzling diamond sparkler she allegedly received from Brody, with the subject line "Ha, Ha," informants types reveal.

"Everyone is so excited," a clandestine source told the publication. "Brody's mom, Linda Thompson, is thrilled that her Casanova son is settling down. She loves Avril and thinks she's good for Brody."

The tipster added, "It's a case of opposites attracting. He's a cool Malibu surfer type, she's a pale rocker from Canada. But they work well for each other."

Hmmm...That's not the story Life & Style is telling. That glossy alleges that Avril and Brody are not only not engaged -- they've decided to call time on their relationship after failing to agree on their future.

It's too bad -- Avril certainly netted the seal of approval from her maybe mother-in-law. Linda gushed about the lovin' twosome during a chat with E! News gossip guy Marc Malkin last year.

"You never know what will happen, but they are well suited for each other. She's such a lovely person and surprisingly, she's a real home body. She loves to cook and she's really grounded and very familial. She's into close-knit family time. I really respect her," she said.

"They have the same sense of humor," Thompson added. "They both love to laugh and have fun. They both have a little streak of irreverence which is pretty delightful and a lot of fun to be with."

Linda won't be pleased, but an Avril-Brody breakup would likely come as music to the ears of Brody's famous stepsisters -- the Kardashians. Kourtney, Kim and Khloe are anything but Avril advocates, having long ago pegged the punk pop princess a "major diva," according to reports.

In July 2010, Brody revealed his newest tattoo: The TV personality, 28, got Avril to write her name in pen on his arm, then he got it inked over by professionals. The award-winning singer later had Brody's name permanently inked onto her ribs.

Break up? What break up? Canadian sourpuss Avril Lavigne and Bruce Jenner's other kid, Brody Jenner, were spotted together in Los Angeles. So, everything is good in their relationship? Not so fast.

"They are not back together," a source told US Weekly of the low-key couple. However, they're still friendly and are "figuring out how to separate."

"It was mutual, but Brody really broke up with her," a source told US Weekly. He didn't want to wait around for her while she toured in Europe. "He told her he was tired of always being her plus-one, and always going on tour with her."

The split comes after the pair was involved in a November bar brawl.

Brandon Jenner married Leah Felder on Thursday in Hawaii. If the name sounds familiar to you, it's because Brandon Jenner is one of Bruce Jenner's children from his second marriage to Linda Thompson. Leah is the daughter of former Eagles guitarist Don Felder.

Absent from the wedding were Bruce Jenner's stepdaughters, the Kardashians. While Bruce Jenner's two daughters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, served as bridesmaids, it's not clear why the Kardashian sisters skipped the ceremony. Mom Kris Jenner did accompany Bruce and the intimate ceremony and reception consisted of just 36 close friends and family members at the ultra luxurious St. Regis Princeville Resort. Also in attendance was The Hills star Brody Jenner -- Brandon's brother -- who served as Brandon's best-man.

The groom's mother, Linda Thompson, spoke to People magazine and gushed over the couple's romance. "Brandon and Leah are the most beautiful reflection of each other," Thompson told People. "They not only bring the best out in each other, they believe the best about each other."

People magazine also reports the Kardashians did manage to send congratulatory wishes to Brandon Jenner and Leah Felder via the web. Kim Kardashian wrote on her blog, "Huge congrats to my stepbrother Brandon and his gorgeous new wife Leah!" Khloe Kardashian also sent her love to the newly married couple. "I just wanted to send a HUGE congratulations and so much love to my brother Brandon and his new wife Leah." She went on, "Wishing you both all the happiness in the world!…So jealous I can't be there!"

The 31-year-old Brandon Jenner met his wife Leah Felder in high school where they grew up together in Malibu, California.
